Alpinestars S-R7: The Evolution of the Species for Track and Street

Are you tired of having to choose between the extreme performance of a track helmet and the comfort needed for long rides on the road? That sense of compromise that accompanies you every time you fasten the strap? Alpinestars has decided that it's time to stop compromising. Get ready to discover the new Alpinestars S-R7 full-face helmet, the perfect synthesis of the adrenaline of the corners and the freedom of mountain passes.

The S-R7 is not just a new model in the catalog; it is a statement of intent. Developed for those looking for a highly versatile premium platform, this helmet brings racing-derived technology directly to your head, ensuring stability at high speeds, wind tunnel-tuned aerodynamics, and a lightness that will make you forget you're wearing it.

Aerodynamics and Ventilation: Cutting Through the Wind

When the speedometer rises, the last thing you want is a helmet that "pulls" or makes your head boil. The Alpinestars S-R7 A-Core is designed to cut through the air. Its smooth outer profile and the integrated road spoiler (developed with computer simulations and wind tunnel tests) minimize turbulence and aerodynamic resistance. The result? Less strain on the neck and impressive stability even during lateral visual checks.

But cutting through the air is not enough, you also need to make it circulate. The ventilation system is top of the class, with 10 strategically positioned vents:

• 6 intake vents: Three on the chin guard (including a central one for defogging the visor) and three on the top, adjustable via a sliding vent.
• 4 exhaust vents: Two on the sides of the chin guard and two integrated into the rear spoiler, perfect for quickly expelling hot and humid air.

Safety and Construction: PLASMA Technology Meets Carbon

Alpinestars doesn't joke around when it comes to protection. The S-R7 is ECE 22.06 approved and features a multi-composite shell that combines carbon, aramid fiber, and fiberglass with pre-preg epoxy resin.

But the real technological gem is hidden inside. In addition to the seven-section multi-density EPS, the S-R7 integrates the patented PLASMA technology by Alpinestars. Two PLASMA inserts are positioned in the clavicle recesses, offering extra impact absorption in one of the most critical areas for us motorcyclists, while reducing the contact between the shell and the body in case of a slide. Furthermore, the S-R7 is designed to reduce rotational acceleration, a crucial feature to limit brain damage in angled impacts.

Custom Comfort and Optimal Visibility

A safe but uncomfortable helmet is a useless helmet. That's why the S-R7 is equipped with the patented A-Head Fitment system, which allows you to micro-adjust the height, depth, and angle of the helmet to find the perfect fit for your head. The washable, antimicrobial interiors include 3D cheek pads with channels for glasses, an emergency release system (ERS), and even a hydration tube passage.

As for visibility, the S-R7 offers exceptional visibility (220° horizontal, 57° vertical). The Class 1 Optical visor is anti-scratch, has a variable thickness to avoid distortions, and comes with the Pinlock® 120 MaxVision™ anti-fog lens included in the package. The premium polymer visor lock ensures it stays closed even in unexpected situations.

Ready for Connection: A-Connect

Can't give up the soundtrack of your journey or the navigator's directions? No problem. The S-R7 is prepared for seamless integration with the Alpinestars A-Connect communication system. This means you can enjoy Mesh 3.0 technology and the exceptional audio quality of the 40 mm Harman Kardon speakers with AI-based noise cancellation, all without compromising the helmet's aerodynamics.
